Private investigations at the Old Blackford County Jail are from 6PM to 10 AM. One of our guides will meet you there and give you the grand tour, pointing out places of historic significance in the building as well as areas that are known for paranormal activity. If you have a special request to have a certain person be your guide for the night, just ask and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Booking is easy. Call 765-808-8730, and Kate will help make all the arrangements for you to visit the jail and experience the history and the haunting.

Once you have established that your desired date is free, look at our price list below.
A deposit of 50% will be required upon reserving in order to hold your date on the calendar. If you are not able to provide the security deposit, we will not be able to hold the date. Deposits are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to make your reservation date, we do allow reschedules. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to be at the jail for your booking.
Once you have decided on a date, call 765-808-8730 to secure your reservation. You will be sent an invoice through Square up for the deposit.
Your deposit is applied to your total due. The remaining 50% will be due one week prior to your Investigation.
Your price is good for up to 8 PEOPLE. If you have more than 8 people, there is an additional charge of $50/person.
We have waivers on site that everyone must sign in order to investigate.
PRIVATE OVERNIGHT INVESTIGATION
SUNDAY – THURSDAY: $350 for a group of up to 8 people ($175 deposit)
OFF SEASON: December 1-March 31 $250
Additional people are $50/person
FRIDAY OR SATURDAY: $450 for a group of up to 8 people. ($225 deposit)

**To include the Ervin/Campbell Speakeasy with your jail investigation, the cost is an additional $100.
Photoshoots – $25 per hour / 2 Hour Minimum
Private History Tour – $25 per person / minimum 3 people (11 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily)
Film Shoot Location – Call For Pricing
Mini Ghost Hunt – $25 per person for 2 hours (11 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily)
AMENITIES AVAILABLE:
* Beds in the cell block. You do need to provide your own linens, blankets, and pillows. If you are uncomfortable sleeping the cells, you are welcome to bring in air mattresses or cots.
* A full functioning kitchen is available for you to use, including a microwave, refrigerator, Keurig, and stove.
* Working restroom at the jail
*We have heat in the sheriff’s quarters where you will set up your command center. This area includes the kitchen, restroom, sleeping quarters and sitting area. The rest of the building is not climate controlled. Please dress appropriately!
AGE RESTRICTION:
No child under the age of 16 will be allowed to participate in a Private Overnight Investigation. Children ages 16-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the investigation, no exceptions. Proper documentation is required.
No smoking in the building.
No drugs or alcohol on the property.
No open flames in the building.
No firearms in the building.
If you have relocated furniture, please put it back in its original location.
If you break it, you bought it.
Try not to piss anything off.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK ANYONE WHO DOES NOT FOLLOW THE RULES TO LEAVE.
In the event you are asked to leave, no refund will be given. Reserving a date and paying your security deposit means you agree to our terms.
